I disabled driver signing, installed legacy device in dev manager, still no go. I posted a response to your comment last week but forgot to click on the reply link below your comment. Thank you so much for the modified driver! Also resurrected my old Microtek Scanmaker 35T Plus slide scanner. Please let me know if I can assist with any additional information.

As it turned out my drive failed, so I just purchased another one from ebay….

Windows 7 does not like the default bit driver for my U2 card aic8u2. I would also try going into device manager and throwing out the scsi card, then add a legacy device by hand, and point it to the driver folder. Hi Steve, thanks for putting together that information! Hi Ray I tried the U2W first, could not get it to 32-bti, I ended up purchasing the exact same card as the OP, It worked without having to modify any code.

Can you possible post your working file here so I can figure out what my problem is. Any idea what is wrong? It suggested that I contact the manufacturer.

Apparently, WinXP bit can use the aic78u2. I have the hosting provider working on this, and they said it should be back online in a day or so, but it may 32-biit 3 or 4 days.

Good word of mouth goes a long way. Just tried with a clean install of Windows 10 build and was able to install the driver for my AU card.
